Memento Mori has always been a popular subject matter for artists. Literally translated to "remember death," traditionally paintings containing skulls ask the viewer to remember their own mortality. My paintings of plants and bones are meant to do the opposite. Remember life. Remember that spark we are all given, the growth we have all made. No matter how dire life gets, even if it's the inevitable end, please remember life.

This listing is for a print of one of my original water color and ink paintings, "Dahlia." This signed reproduction measures 5 inches x 7 inches (12.7cm x 17.8cm). The print is high quality; very true to the original's coloring. It is printed with archival inks on acid free paper.
