This colorful tree painting captures a late spring day that is too hot for its own good. It was the last day of vacation in the mountains when I painted it on site. It was the last painting of the season. It was one last tree. Landscapes all have a certain mood. I hope this one captures the feel of the mountains on the last day of a far too short trip.
This painting is titled "One Last Tree." It is Posca paint and ink on scrap wood. It measures approximately 9 inches x 12 inches (22.86 cm x 30.48 cm).
This an original, signed, one of a kind work of art, not a print. It was made by me, Jen Tracy.
This piece is part of a series of paintings I am making on scrap wood. It is important to note that the measurements are approximate, as it was hand cut from wood that was to be discarded. This paintings edge's have been sanded, but are still a little flawed. Its unique shape and size are a part of its beauty. No prints will be made of this work due to its organic nature. It is truly a one of a kind work of art.
