I painted this tree while relaxing in my back yard. It was hot. It was sunny. It was wonderful. It's not my tree though. It is my neighbor's tree. I hope they don't mind me painting it but I didn't ask. This painting of my neighbor's tree could be yours, if you like it enough to buy it. Maybe you could give it to your neighbor. Then it would be a painting of my neighbor's tree for your neighbor.
This painting is titled "Neighbor's Tree." It is Posca paint and ink on scrap wood. It measures approximately 9 inches x 12 inches (22.86 cm x 30.48 cm).
This an original, signed, one of a kind work of art, not a print. It was made by me, Jen Tracy.
This piece is part of a series of paintings I am making on scrap wood. It is important to note that the measurements are approximate, as it was hand cut from wood that was to be discarded. This paintings edge's have been sanded, but are still a little flawed. Its unique shape and size are a part of its beauty. No prints will be made of this work due to its organic nature. It is truly a one of a kind work of art.
